Fall Prep Comp: Judges Panel

Kacee Crandall: Head Judge, All Events

National Champion, All-Star, and co-founder of Country Nomads. Kacee will be our Head Judge and special guest for the Fall Preparation Competition.

We are pleased to learn from her experience. Kacee is a veteran country dancer and organizes the Nomads Wandering Conventions throughout the United States. She helped found the Country Nomads in 2020. Since she has participated, organized, and judges dozens of conventions and competitions, and hundreds of lessons and workshops.

Kyle James: All Events

Kyle James is the owner of Dusty Boot Dancing in Salt Lake City, UT. He has been dancing country swing and line dancing for 23 years. He has a Bachelor's of Science in Education of Exercise and Mechanics with emphasis in dancing. Kyle has been teaching country swing dancing and line dancing for 18 years. He has experience in various forms of dancing including Ballroom, Latin, Contemporary, Swing, Modern, and Ballet. He has a love for the dance community and wants to continue to build up the country swing community in Utah.

Kalie Lamb: Strictly, J&J

Kalie is the owner of Wasatch Wrangerls. She has been dasncing for 5 years. She began competing last year at YESSS. Since then she has dove into competitive dancing. She has been trained by the Country Nomads on teaching and judging country swing. Her passion for country swing continues to influence the dancing community everyday.

Andrew Allred: Strictly, J&J

Andrew began country swing dancing in the beginning of 2021 and started his dance journey learning from several different teachers locally here in Utah. Andrew attended his first country swing convention in Denver in February of 2023 and fell in love with the national country swing coummunity.

Since that time Andrew has traveled around the western United States attending workshops and competing in mondern country swing dancing. Andrew has been successful throughout 2024 at local , regional, and national competitions, winning several and finishing in top 3 in others, such as Neon Nights, NWC, YESSS!, and Country Swingtime. Andrew is a part of a local group called Wasatch Wranglers and teaches modern country swing with them all across Utah.

Brennan Chase: Strictly, J&J

Brennan got into county swing 10 months ago. he got invited to join the Wasatch Wranglers and began taking private lessons with several All-Star leads. His love for dance has only continued to grow. He's been trained by some of the best dancers in the Country. He placed 1st in Novice Jack & Jill in February, 2024 in Boise, 2nd place Intermediate Jack & Jill at Swing Fling, and was a finalist in Intermediate Country Swing Jack & Jill at YESSS24. He is excited to start teaching and judging.

Ashley Jordan: Line Dance

With 8 years of ballroom and 3 years of country swing experience, I've developed a passion for the art of partner dancing. I've competed nationally in both styles, always pushing to grow myself as a dancer and member of the dance community. In addition to ballroom and country swing, I've dabble in multiple dance styles, including modern and contemporary, which have helped me explore movement in new ways. I enjoy sharing my passion for dance with others and helping them learn by fostering a fun and positive learning environment.

Tilly Dillon: Line Dance

Tilly has been country swing and line dancing for almost 2 years after moving out to Utah. She comes with a dancing and performing background of 14 years in ballet, modern, contemporary, and many other styles. She finds freedom in country dancing to play with her expressions, movement and engagement with her partners, music, and a crowd. She taught with Dusty Boot Dancing for a year, and now teachews around Utah County. She enjoys sharing the joy of dancing whereever she goes, and is excited to see this community grow.

Winter Armstrong: Line Dance

Winter has grown up dancing Ballet, Jazz and Drill. She has done competitions in Drill. Alongside her High School competitions, Winter has been line dancing and country swing dancing for over a year. Having never judged a competition, she is excited for this to be the first competition she participates as a judge!
